Hey hey hey! Where are all the God pleasers at!? 😄
Boy oh boy, is that not my desire? I want it to be said of me: “That girl is a God pleaser,” hands down! I want to live my life and be so full of faith that it is an inspiration to my family, friends, and those around me. But first and foremost, I want to please God.
Do you know that it pleases Him when we have faith and trust in His Word and His ability? It pleases Him to know that we don’t think that He is fallible or just all talk and no action. (He’s not like us. 😲😝)
He’s the faithful, loving, trustworthy Father and He wants faithful, loving and trustworthy sons and daughters.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8:8)
Ouch. Reliance on human effort is unpleasing. Faith in God is pleasing. There’s another scripture that I like to quote, “…in the flesh dwells no good thing.” (Romans 7:18) I think you get the picture. 👌
I feel like the Lord is saying:
Trust Me with your life. Trust Me with everything that concerns you. I want you to live a life of abundance in every area, not just the material realm. You must have faith in Me. Faith in yourself and others just won’t do. You must take the time to develop our relationship. You must take the time to get to know Me. I am your highest and best priority. Time with Me is well worth it. Time with Me is befitting your status as part of the Royal Family. Just have faith in Me. Great things are ahead if you take our partnership seriously. Let Me be the consummate plan. Don’t look for a Plan B, for just in case you think I won’t come through. Have faith in what I can and will do if you just trust Me.
Prayer: Lord, help me to please You in everything I do.
